Need Help With An Interval Workout Routine

Post by belladiamondz »

Please help me.
I like to do Interval Training workouts once a week.
So normally I do intervals of running/jogging/brisk walking or intervals using the elliptical and/or stair climber.
However, I'd LOVE to be able to do an interval workout routine from home (where I have no gym equipment other than free weights, body & medicine balls).
Please is there anywhere I can find a "sample" routine outlining a complete workout.
I took an interval class once at gym and it was great the instructor did something like this...
60 seconds of Jumping Jacks to 60 seconds of Squats...
back up to 60 seconds of fast Mountain climmbers back down to
60 seconds of Double Crunches...etc..
basically the 45 min class went up and down in varyiation of working out different bodyparts
Any suggestions/ideas would be most appreciated! :)
thanks again all

Swanso...thank you for that link. I am looking forward to trying this interval workout on Saturday, in place of usual boring treadmill/elliptical workout!

If you or anyone else has other links to sites with sample routines that would be AWESOME!

thanks again!

Sprinting outside is great. Jumping rope, jumping jacks, bike riding, weights.
