<<weighing In>>

Post by La_La_Lady »

I have heard and belive in the understanding that it is best to weigh yourself first thing in the morning. However, I refuse to spend money on a scale. (Im a cheap skate)

I usualy hit the gym after work promptly at 5/ 5:30

SO... Is it best to weigh in before or after workout??

Hi, when in consistantly. Ie the same everytime and you will be more accurate. I myself weigh in before workouts once a week. Any more than once a week is not productive. Don't forget a scale weight does not show you muscle vs. fat or the fact that you lost 1/2 inch on your waist.

Every 2 weeks, pictures of your front, back and side will show more than a scale ever could and a tape measurement of different areas of your body will as well. In the tracking system on this site are the areas best to measure and a description of how to measure properly.

Cheers

I wouldn't care about weight as much as appearance.
