New to site, looking for help with abs

Post by goblue91750 »

So I am a 17 year old looking to get a six pack.
I have never had a six pack or have never been very "healthy" and am looking to change.

Right now I'm about 5'7-'5'8 130 pounds (which I'm pretty sure is a bit underweight). Right now I can see a twoish-fourish (yeah not real words but i don't know how else to describe it) pack. I am basically looking to get rid of the thin (i think its thin) layer of fat covering abs. I have also noticed that there is more fat on the lower part of abs.

I used a couple of home body fat calculators and most of them said I was between 9.5-10% body fat.

I have started to do mild workouts 3 times a week, but i don't have a gym pass or anything so I only do workouts with fairly light weights (like 15 pound dumbbells). I wanted to know if that would be good enough or I would need some heavier weights.

I think i have developed a decent diet (I never eat junk food and try to eat good foods) A typical day is pretty much like this:

Breakfast- Two eggs sunnyside-up cooked in extra virgin olive oil with a side of whole wheat pita bread.

Lunch- Generally a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with mustard and a side of blueberries or some other fruits.

Afternoon- Probably kind of snack like almonds or Carrots with peanut butter or something like that.

Dinner- Something like chicken or fish or turkey with a salad (sometimes).

Nigh time- Usually an apple or something else, maybe some leftover chicken or fish from dinner.

Thats all I can think of at the time again I am looking to get a six pack and wondering what would be the best thing that i should do.

- you'd have a 6 pack at 9% so that's not right
- you'll need heavier wts or a gym membership
- go to diet section and read "read before posting..." for food

It's possible that I got the measurements wrong while trying to calculate body fat.

I have also noticed recently (and by recently I mean in the last hour) that when i flex abs I can see two muscles towards the top of stomach (right under pecs) but they are about half the size of the lower four. Is there anything I can do about this or is that just the way abs are?

The best way I would describe it is that I have the top two abs you see in an 8 pack but then there are only four under it...

Another question is that its says to eat protein and veggies at night...if i eat some veggies with some all all-natural peanut butter on them does that make them bad or anything?

i'm not sure about the taste of that but it's alright, don't go overboard on the peanut butter though
