Currently i tain 4 times a week and usually train by the 3 sets of 12 reps gradually increasing the weight every set, occasionally throwing in a superset or 2 now and again
ive been reading about a program 5 x 5, basically its 2 warm up sets (really light weights) of 5 reps followed by 3 sets (heavy weights) 5 reps.
any ideas on whether i should change to this program 5 x5 for a few weeks to mix things up or just stick with the standard 3 x 12
