Absolutely. All types of fish tend to be great sources of protein. Tuna is a fantastic source of protein even though it is canned. It also provides essential fats (omega 3). The fact that you bought the product in water makes it all the more healthier than if you bought it in sunflower oil. Just don't overeat it, 2-3 times per week is enough.

Water packed tuna is great. I buy the little pouches of it because it's easy to take with me for a quick snack. No can to open.

Ive always used canned fish especially tuna and sardines too give diet a protein boost

Tuna is a Nervury risk thogh, and Doctors never seem ot know what is and isn't an acceptable limit.

So the best thing is probably 1 can every 2-3 days tops, don't dose Mercury daily, or screw the tuna, and maybe go for alternatives like Sardines or maybe Pilchards or Sild.

Though the other problem you might get with Canned Fish, is if they come in Brine, as Brine is very Salty, so you could be eating Salty Fish.
