Hi,
I have a quick question about cardio workout. Will those exercises help me reduce the waist and show the abs better? I've been doing strenght training a couple of years now and just can't seem to get the abs to show up no matter how many situps or crunches I do. Obviously I have too much fat in mid area.
So, could running or cycling help me with that?
Cardio for abs?

sprinting fast the metabolism, promote anabolic hormone release and surely that the abs are used as stabilizer when sprinting, so hum.djg wrote:Swanso,
I was just wondering why you say that sprints give you abs? I agree with all your other points but I just don't understand the logic behind that one. Thanks.
Little fat = sexy abs
Abs strength ? or size ? well, they are used in many exercises and core exercises may be useful but as stated not as much as a good dead
heavy breathing activates the transverse abdominis etc which are the real core muscle, as well as increasing metabilism as mentioned so you burn more calories for longer..there's a million more but thses 2 alone should be enough to start doing them
if not than look at a sprinter's body and see the evidence
