Yikes! I've read too much on this stuff. More specifically, it's carbs vs. fat vs. protein. I've seen a lot of sources that encourage combination of carbs and protein in the same meal (but little to no fat). I've also heard that combining carbs and protein makes you fat somehow. I also heard that eating carbs and fat (which is most desserts (nearly all)) is really bad.
Does anybody know anything about food combining (or separation) in terms of keeping healthy/clean, and of course, weight management!? Who do we believe in stuff like this?
I know that I eat protein and carbs (with low fat) after a lifting/HIIT. Is that alright, I mean, for preserving/gaining muscle AND losing fat at the same time?
