How Many Calories...
how many calories should a 16yo at 6'3" 170lbs eat for a 1-2 pound per week weight loss assuming a proper exercise routine. i looked on many sites and they recommend much more than i expected (~2200-2400). this seems too much for a person of size to LOSE weight so i was just wondering what i should do. thanks.
i wouldn't count calories as you'll never know exactly how many your consuming or expending, just eat clean and train hard but if you really need to start at 15 calories per pd of bodyweight which for you will be
2650/day...stay at this with your new eating plan for 2 weeks only re measuring once a week at the same time each week and if after 2 weeks nothing has happened then decrease to 14 caloreis per pd of bw etc until you start losing...stick with your "losing" figure until you stop losing again and work down...bear in mind that you can't simply keep decreasing cal's and a better way is to decrease cal's for 2 weeks then if needed increase actibvty for 2 weeks etc
i think you'll find though but by simply changing some food choices and timing, you'll be well on your way
