hack squats

Post by Petersworkinout »

problem solved, i was having problems being able to reach the bar, because im not use to bending down that far while keeping balance ( legs like a sitting position lol) anyway i practiced doing the movement and its feels normal now.

well if your doing waterbury, dont get confused 10x3 with 3x10.

the waterbury is 3 reps, 10 sets, so you choose about 80% of your 1RM and do 3 quickly.

thats quite strange to lose balance on a hack squat machine. try lowering the weight a bit and see if that helps.

Your feet should be quite stable on the board...

what do you mean down to the bar?

he means hack squats with a barbell not on a machine.

Btw, are those two different??

I think that you can use a smaller barbell if u tend to lose your balance. (it's more like a question not something i know about)

you can start off with a swissball behind you for balance if you have someone to put it there...just sit back as far as you can handle and use te bar wt to counterbalnce yourself if you know what i mean
