push up injury?

When I do push ups, 90% of the time left shoulder hurts.. anyone know why?

Could be some kind of weakness in the Joint.

Could be issues with the Rotator Cuff or Scapula, (Shoulder blade). Particularly if you're getting the issue on your weaker side.

Could be an issue with technique. You might have one Arm closer into your Torso than the other, creating an uneven upper body weight distribution.

Other than that, nothing else automatically springs to mind.

yeah boss man i think your right about the torso uneven thing. but how can i like make myself as even as possible?

Do it infront of a Mirror. For a basic technique, keep the Hands underneath the Shoulders, not like you could be doing which is one Hand underneath a Shoulder, the other to the left or right of the other shoulder.

Doing it infront of a mirror, will get you used to seeing your Hands where they ought to be.
