Tai bo is not as good as weights, or some Cardio systems, but if you did Cardio 2x a week, you could do it once every 1-2 weeks for variety.

Tae-bo is great for fat loss

Tae-bo is one of the better things you can do for fat loss because it's fun to do plus it will help you get toned as well.

The kicking and punching tones up your arms, shoulders, and legs, and abs &... If you use a punching bag you'll get a real good muscle toning + fat burning workout.

I think you should read this review by alan simms called"tae-bo does it really help you lose weight fast"

There's nothing wrong with Tae Bo, especially if you enjoy it. Workouts should be enjoyable. True though that solid weights and quality cardio will give you better results.
And it definately will not "tone" you. A "toned" look is achieved through building a solid muscle base and losing fat covering it.
