when should i eat?

should i eat before a workout in the morning? or after the workout? what should i eat? (i'm a newbie i don't know anything aobut fitness) i'm planning to start the morning workout at 5:30am and end it at 6:40am...is it a good idea to workout in the morning? because i have to go to school

Eatr before. Eat after. Food fuels your workout. Your body cannot complete it's recovery process after your workout without food.

If you are told that you should do cardio without eating first, that is mostly a myth. Fasting cardio burns a trivial amount more fat, but the results are a less efficient workout and that you may find yourself hungrier throughout the day and therefor eating more.

It's fine to workout int he morning but do have something to eat first. It's best if near your workouts you have some carbs and some protein.

yeah i have this book its called 4 weeks to total fitness by simon waterson, and in there it says that i should do cardio before eating because i will force body to burn fat.
so do i eat a banada and a apple first before the workout?

Any suggestions on protein shakes that don't make you gag? Or is it just an aquired taste?

banana and milk will be alright

there's a thousand powders out there and you'll find one you like...just try the single serve one's first or maybe you need to blend it better
