hi everyone hope yous can help .I train 5 days a week as follows
Monday - chest
Tuesday - back
Wednesday - legs
Thursday - triceps/shoulders
Friday -biceps/traps
The problem im having is ideally how many exercises should i do for each muscle group.The now im doing:-
Chest - chest press(machine),bench press(machine)pec deck
i do mostly machine work due to shoulder injury.
Back - lat pull downs,bent over dumbell rows,vertical traction,upper
back machine,seated cable rows.
legs - squats,leg press,leg extensions.
triceps/ - radiant pull downs,skull crusher,close grip b/press,/radiant
shoulders lat raises,seated military press,dumbell front raises,wide bar
lat raise.
biceps/ - ez bar curls,standing hammers,preacher curls,seated dumbell
traps curls,/bar shrugs,dumbell shrugs.
Am i doing too much for some muscles and not enough for others ?,i will be interested in any help i can get .Thanks

machine work will probably make your shoulders worse as the stabilisers (rotator cuffs, lower traps etc) aren't required for machine work as the wt ix "fixed" and moves in a given range of motion...probablt too many machines all round in your routinbe for liking...free wts are the way to go then we can work out volume
