bicep trouble
i've been working out for a year now ive gone from 145lbs to 165lbs. I've gained alot to legs, triceps, and chest(thnx to swanso's advice).......BUT i have trouble with biceps. For some reason biceps are the hardest to workout for me. I've tried almost every excercise out there. I used to be sore a lot with biceps when i started working out...now i don't feel sore the next day. When i work them out i can only do like 5 sets after that biceps are soar only at that time and i cant lift anything else after that.
Sounds like too much volume.
You also are going to work Biceps, from things like Row exercises, and don't forget on Tricep exercises, Biceps are Antagonists, and work to reverse the Tricep movement, so you're getting a lot of direct / secondary action anyway.
I suggest with Biceps, cutting back to 4, maybe 3 sets, and see if the slightly reduced volume, stimulates more improvement.
