Cardio Workout

Post by nikban »

Hi Everyone,

I have started fall semester and with full time work and 3 courses, 3 nights a week, I barely have time for a proper workouts. Morning are not out of the question as I'm exhausted, so I basically have the 1.5 hour between 4:30 and 6:00 to workout, shower, and leave for class.

I cannot do hour long weights workout 3 times a week, so I was wondering what everyone thought of a cardio full body workout 4 times a week alone? Would this be sufficient to lose weight/ keep in shape?

I was thinking something along the lines of (in no order whatsoever):

pushups (on feet) 12R 2S
steps w/ weights 20R 2S
jumping squats 12R 2S
flying lunges 10R 2S
shuffles (side to side) 15R 2S
jumping jacks (can these be done with weights?) 20R 2-3S
planks (front, sides)- 1 min each, 2 sets
crunches on bench (front, each side)- 20R, 2S
roll outs- 12R 2S
hanging leg raises- 12R 1S

and bicycle intervals of 1 minutes 5-6 times in between...

let me know what you think... i will mix these up, as i need to complete what can be done in a 30 min max period... if this sufficient to do, or will i need to add more uppder/lower body or cardio etc? I only want to go 4 days a week, as I am crunched for time...

Let me know suggestions, tips, etc?

thanks!

something like that will be fine...make up 3 - 6 different workouts ansd simply rotate through...as long as you do them hard, you'll be fine
