NEED ANSWER ASAP.

Post by (Rage) »

I was just reading the nutrition thing in Protien shake, and I DID NOT notice this before, and I really really need to know
What on earth is SUGAR ALCOHOL?
Does it means it's alcohol..what the heck is it?
If it is...then I'm fucked up, big time.

I really need to know this ASAP.

To understanding, it's the same Sugar source as used in Alcohol, probably Maltose, I would guess.

However in relation to your shakes, it shouldn't produce the same outcome, because the ingredients it is brewed with in many Alcohol forms, would produce a catalytic reaction, not present in your shakes.

In the instance of a shake, it would be used to elevate Bloodsugar levels after exercise, although the effects of it with the other ingredients, would mostly be attributed to Organs such as the Kidneys, and not the Liver, (if at all), like Alcohol does.

Thanks really. I freaked out!
They should say it's maltose or sth, rather than alcohol, or at least explain!
Cause im clueless about these things, and still learning way through!

What's the point? They can't print labels, with about 2 papragraphs explaining all the ingredients, or the tubs would be the size of an Humvee.
