I'm working on seriously cleaning up diet, but I'm also wondering about cardio and the general work-out. I go to the gym three days a week(mon, wed, fri) and work the whole body, doing 15 minutes on the treadmill afterwards(I just do the 'weight loss' selection at max which is 4.2 speed and going from 4.5 - 10 incline). Should I be taking about 30 seconds breaks in between sets, or a little longer?
Should I bump the cardio up to 30 minutes, perhaps? I burn about 160-170 calories with the 15 and it gives me a good sweat. Is that enough or should I try for, say, 20 minutes to get closer to 200? Most of the time I walk to and from the gym, as well.
Thanks.
I want to get lean.

- you should be lifting a wt that is hard no matter what the rest but generally use a wt you can just get 12 reps with, then have to rest about 60secs to do it again
- instead of making cardio longer, make it harder within the same time frame with sprinting intervals
- calories counters on machines are never right so just be sure that you've done it as hard as you could after each session and the cal burning will take care of itself
