Excess calories convert to Fat, so in theory too much Protein could yield Fat conversion, where the calories converted.

I can't say there's a definite limit on excess Protein, but I would say definitely no need to go above 300g a day, unless you're seriously wanting to get on Anabolics, and weigh about 240lb's.

Are you talking about having too much protein in one day or what? I had a similar question on literally having too much protein at once.
I'm pretty sure your body can only absorb 27g of good protein at any one time.
as far as the 27grams goes though, whey is the protein that would get digested all at once whereas some casein protein would be broken down over time so you wouldn't have as much to worry about.

Good luck

Protein is not digested all at once.

Protein is digested usually over a 3 hour time period, except things like Casein which have double the calories per gram, and take roughly 6-7 hours to digest.

Whey, 4 cals per gram, Casein 8.

27 grams Protein at any one time, is just a figure. The accuracy of which, I can't confirm. After workouts, Protein intake can be increased for about 1 hour post workout, over regular meal times.

The general consensus, has always been around 35-40 grams Protein at meals, and about 60 post workout, both being upper limits.

I can't say here and now those figures are 100% accurate, but they're ones I've seen bandied around on the net for several years.

i've read that it's closer to 13 - 17g but it depends what type of catabolic / anabolic state your in at the time i suppose and what sort of protein your having (liquid / solid etc)
