In order to lose your gut you're going to have to cut back on eating junk. you can do ab workouts all day long and build some great muscle but the problem being is, no one will see them through all the fat :D

If you're wanting to be able to see abs.. you'll more than likely have to get your body fat % down to 10% or below.. but just having a nice trim waist is usally good enough for most..

Without knowing your body type, height, weight, etc... it's really hard to say what type of diet you should be on without it being general..

Go to this link and find out what your calorie intake should be..

Here's an article with lots of good info on losing fat.. what to eat and what not to eat..

Last but not least.. here's a good ab routine to get you going..

Hope this helps..

It's not hard to diet. It's about good pretty healthy, regular portions.

Almost everyone who changes their eating habits slips sometimes, FACT.

Occasionally you get someone who eats clean from the get go with no slips, but that's rare.

You need to reprogramme your diet, and your mindset towards your diet, and just be committed.

I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but it's doable, so that should be your first port of call, not farting about with changes to weights, that may do nothing, when diet works against them.

Diet should always be the primary objective with Fat loss, then things like Weights / Cardio.

You don't want to workout, create a nice Metabolic Fat loss environment, then eat stuff that causes a replacement of burned stores, or you could just stagnate physically, you want a diet that assists your exercise, so that exercise enhances what the diet can do.

I tell you now a Fat guy doing some weights, and eating a tonne of crap, wouldn't get as slimmer, as a guy, same kind of height / weight, eating clean and doing no weights.

You can combine weights / diet for boosted results, but don't think diet is a problem that you can't overcome.

You CAN!!!!!!!!!! :).
