Legs/butt day only

Post by Dado »

Thursday is the day I do legs/butt only. Got 2 reasons for this - can't work anything after legs (if I do them decently), and the other is legs are lagging behind the rest of the body. So in order to bulk them up what would be a good routine to go for?

if yoour training them like you say them they shou;d be getting bigger so you must be not doing 1 or some of these:

- using enough wt
- not doing the right amount of reps and / or sets
- not doing them frequently enough
- not eating enough for recovery AND growth

wat one do u think it is? there's no magic program just hard and intelligent work

I actually think I was subconsciously saving enough strength to do the shoulders and ABs afterwards. I've somewhere read that someone else had this experience and their legs burst into life once they separated them into a designated day. So, considering I'll be doing the legs on thursday (with the P10 crossing it in and out) what would be a good daily routine for the legs?

your already specialising forearms so don't go overboard or nothing will happen...wat u plan you gonna go with...full body or split? as always i'd say full body bit there's a few ways to do it...full body doesn't have to mean every muscle everyday like a lot of people do...if you only did push ups and deadlifts in 1 session that would be a full body workout as every muscle is getting good quality stimulation...here are some options:

1 - lower heavy, upper light for 1 day...upper heavy, lower light the next

2 - can split up into legs, upper push and upper pull and rotate a heavy, moderate and light sessions for each sucj as day 1 legs heavy, push, moderate, pull light and rotate around

3 - can choose 3 full body like compounds and do the same such as squats, deadlifts, power cleans

they're the probably the best 3 i can think of right now...time for bed
