lose inches of thighs without bulking them up?

Post by pinkpanther_414 »

the subject heading explains it all really. does anyone have any good ideas to go about this? am 5ft 3ins and hips and thighs are out of proportion with the rest of body - with thighs measuring at 21ins around the widest part when standing. i am 34, 28, 37. thanks

Very, very difficult to target one specific area.

Just make sure you keep diet in check, and expect if you lose Fat, it will almost certainly be from everywhere.

You are not going to bulk up. You don 't have the genetic make up for it. Some exercise may make you temporarily retain fluid around the muscle, which can be mistaken for muscle growth.

As bossman said, with good nutrition and solid exercise, you will lose fat. It will be lost from everywhere though, and not just one area.

I lost inches off thighs by doing alot of cardio (two 50-minute classes per day), including steps and biking. I know they say not to do these workouts if you are looking to lose off the thighs, but I dunno, they helped me, ALOT.

The only downside, is you might possibly have lost some Thigh Muscle as well, but without having yourself tested before you began this regime, and then tested every few weeks to monitor losses, it's hard to say if that would or would not have happened.

Give it a few weeks. Just have faith that working out will work and that you will see progress. :)
