I just joined a gym recently and i was wonder how many times i should go? I do the 800m for track. This is routine:
Monday- Weight room(arms/legs) and 3-5 miles
Tuesday- plyometics 200mx5
Wedneday- Weight room( arms legs) and 3-5miles
Thursday- plyometics and 600m,300m,200m,300m,600m
Friday- Weight room(arms/legs), 3-5miles
Saturday- plyometics and 150mx5
Sunday- rest(1mile)
I always do rock climbing if i get bored time to time on sunday. In the Weight room i usually do 8 reps and 6 sets for bench, swats, triceps, curls. I usally am in the weight room for an 1-2hour.

- do you need to run 3 - 5miles for 800m???
- maybe post your actual program so we can have a look although i wouldn't do any arms if i was you...waste of time and recovery
- probably wts 2?week but depoends where you are in your season
- not sure if you need plyo's for 800m
- make sun total rest...nothing at all
