Shoulder Question

So I know theres 3 main shoulder muscles anterior medial and posterior. question is how important is it to specifically target the medial muscle (ie lateral raises). Seems this muscle would get worked in with everything else if you target anterior and posterior right? OR would this cause an imbalance?

for athletic purposes you don't have to target any muscle, but rather nmovements

for looks you may want to as it gives the illusion of shoulder width and slim waist

i wouldn't isolate front head as he gets enough work from shoulder and bench presses

do more sets for post delt than side delt though
