Hi..
Can anyone give me tips and advice on losing weight or tell me where I'm going wrong. I have been working out 3-4 days a week, doing quite a lot of cardio. I have cut out junk food and fizzy drinks and I'm eating more healthy. I'm taking CLA and thermopure from protein and drinking a diet whey protein after every workout. I've been doing this for nearly 4 weeks and I haven't lose a pound. I had a pretty dreadful diet and never done exercise before. What am I doing wrong or am I just being impatience.

Re: Not losing weight
Hi Le-ann good to speak to you.
First tip of the day, ditch the Thermopure, those things are just pure junk. No one take weight gain pills to gain weight, so it stands to reason they don't need pills to lose weight. plus some of those like Hydroxycut hardcore have the potential to kill people and HH did.
Also what times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?
If you're interested in lifting weights, I can give you some pointers to get you going.

Re: Not losing weight
I work shifts so it can be hard to eat at the same time but it's usually around 10 breakfast 12-1 dinner a snack about 3-4 and tea at 6.. Ive just started introducing weights as I'm starting to feel about fitter and am not absolutely hanging after half hour lol.. I just don't understand why I haven't lose anything in 4 weeks..
Re: Not losing weight
I eat a lot of eggs chicken fish vegetables for tea.. Porridge for breakfast and either whole grain pasta with tuna or jacket potato for dinner snacks are normally fruit or unsweetened popcorn or a small bowl of granola..
Re: Not losing weight
You are potentially not losing weight because if your calories are too low, you can cause what is known as a starvation mode, where the body thinks it's being starved and holds onto fat, plus if you use weights and increase the amount of calories burned during and after workouts, then that could also contribute to stubborn weight loss if your diet is low on calories
