Wheat grass or apple cider vinegar

Post by StephanieRogers »

Hi, name is Stephanie and I'm 30 years old. I am trying to lose some weight. Its hard for me to give up favorite foods, I like to work out though. I have heard about a lot of people who lost weight in spite of eating their favorite meals. neighbour who lost a lot of weight recently, told me that she drank wheat grass juice on an empty stomach and lost weight. She says it kills appetite and it increased her enery level. Another friend of mine suggested drinking apple cider vinegar ( Diluted with water ) on an empty stomach to lose weight. Has anyone tried these? which one aids in weight loss? Is it ok to use both? Please advise!

It would be fine to use both, but neither of them is a magic potion. Use either, or both, in conjunction with an overall healthful diet. What are your favorite foods? If you are eating fast food, adding ACV and wheat grass is not going to have you dropping major pounds. You may want to look for healthier substitutes for your favorites, if they aren't already healthy choices.

Wheat grass has a lot of vitamins and even some protein, so it can be a nice addition to your diet.

You do want to be a little careful with ACV, because as with any acidic food, it can be rough on your tooth enamel. Be sure to swish some water in your mouth after you drink it, and wait an hour or so before brushing your teeth. Vinegar of any kind can help to lower your blood sugar when you eat starches (but not sugar, from what I understand) and that is how it can help a bit with weight loss.
