Need help with an eating plan

Post by StephM2142 »

Hi name is Steph, Im 20 yo and i want to get back into shape, i use to be abut 60 to 62 Kg but since i have started working at a shopping centre where there is a lot of temptation for fast food and not many healthy options, i have gained some wight.

Im 161cm tall and currently weigh about 73 kgs, goal is to get back to what i use to be (around 60kgs). Per week i do 2-4 three Klm sessions on the treadmill.

Ive been doing this for just over 2 months now, I've lost some cm's around waist and stomach but i have lost NO WEIGHT. its annoying me like nothing else. Im pretty sure the reason for this is diet.

I was wondering if you could help me. I would like some ideas of food that i can pre cook and take to work to warm up in the microwave for lunch. Even if there are foods that you could suggest for me to buy. Im looking for food thats going to help me loose weight but also keep me feeling full. I have no allergies or anything so all suggestions are welcome.

Thank you so much i look forward to your ideas :)

Hi Steph, good to talk to you.

What times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?

Hi Boss Man, thank you for your comment.

I sometimes have breakfast just before 9, Most of the time a ham cheese tomato toasted sandwich. if Im in a rush i might grab a cheese and bacon role or nothing.
For lunch at around 12- 3 ill have either a kabab or Beef Pad See Ew, sometimes a wonton soup, depending on what i feel like.
Dinner around 7- 7:30. it varies night to night in what i eat. It could go from pizza from the freezer one night to something like Stake with veg and mash or butter chicken.

Hey, I truly believe that a healthy body is not only made in the gym but also in the kitchen. all-time favorite meal schedule comes from Focus T25 created by Shaun T. All of the recipes consist of 5 ingredients and are super easy to make. So this plan is great for someone on the go and doesn't have 1-2 hours to make just one meal. Hope this helps!

hi Steph :) so basically if youre trying to lose weight I would advise you to cut down on the cheese and bread
opt for whole grain bread when you do eat bread and try to eat less cheese. Also be weary of kebabs ad they are sometimes cooked in fat. Also you said sometimes you opt for pizza for dinner and even though the frozen ones do have typically less calories than pizzas at a restaurant due to their smaller size, they're still not a good idea when on a diet

Try to prepare your own meals gor work and opt for low fat and relatively low carb meals. Grilled chicken or salmon is always a good choice. Quinoa is also a great filling option for both lunch and/or dinner. Also for breakfast maybe some wholegrain cereal for a good fibre source :) hope this helps
