Hello. I am an African American , 6'1, 200 lbs. I have lost 30 lbs since March, but I would really like to lose weight in thighs and glutes. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest anything that would help. I've searched for info, but it's hard to find any specifically for men. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Aaron

Hi Aaron it's good to talk to you.
Congrats on the weight loss man you should be proud of yourself and I'm proud of you for being committed to yourself up until now and I feel confident already, that you'll be able to do what it takes to continue this positive trend
.
Obviously in terms of trying to reduce your body shape thus further, consideration must be taken to the whole body, not just specific areas, but in relation to the lower areas you do have quite a lot of training options, like squats, lunges, front lunges, side lunges, good mornings, deadlifts, romanian deadlifts, bulgarian split squats etc, so there's plenty of choice.
Consideration must also be made to diet, as you may find there are still a few tweaks that can be made to assist your efforts, but the main thing is not to get frustrated if things don't happen quite how you hope for and just keep believing, because cosmetic change is all fine and well, but it's the improvement to your bodies mechanics that matters more and sometimes you may be doing more good for your inner self than you realise, because that's the change that's hard to see

I really appreciate your positive words and advice. I guess I needed to hear that from someone else, because I haven't really given myself a lot of credit thus far.
Thanks for the training suggestions. I'm going to start implementing them into exercise routine. I've been frustrated with the lack of progress in these two areas. But now that you've provided some tips, I feel a little more hopeful that I can work to get them were I would like them to be.
