Hey! Looking forward to hopefully spending a bit of time on here. Getting to know more about diet etc. Im . 5 ft 9. About 170lbs. Pretty happy with body apart from pretty much upper torso. For now anyway! Iv always had a bit of a . As well as a sticking out chest! Haha. Not exessive but its still there. And id like to get shut of the fat before it goes the other way.
Any obvious dos or donts to help me along? Recently moved onto chicken salads bran flakes and crisp breads just to get off pizzas and takeouts. But im uneducated in nutrition. I estimated dailey requirement at 1700 calories. job doesnt move me around that much. I domt really have time for the gym but could get some weights etc down the line if I could lose the fat. Id like to prove I can do it before going out any buying equipment.
I do have access to a treadmill. But dont currently use it. Most exercise I probably get is maybe once a week about a 5 or 6 mile stroll with boy. I know. Shamefull! Haha.
Im on the myfitness app. Only for about 5 days. The first being just whatever I ate that day. And thereafter cutting out junk. I did have one day where I hit about 300 cal over. Damn you cinema treats! But other days ive tried to be 400 to 500 cal under. I havent really domt much more then try and avoid major junk. But most things instead may not be the best. Just trying the calorie logic out.

Firstly a few questions / observations.
May I assume by your post you're a man, if not apologies for that.
Also do you have access to a Gym, or are you looking for home based workouts that incorporate the treadmill into them?
What times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?

Hi. Sorry about that. Yes im . I don't have acess to a gym. I could buy some basic weights eventually but can access a treadmill. I started diet a few days ago. The problem is I work shifts. 12 hour days and night. So times are a little as follows.
When im off.
I get up at 7.
Brekfast at 8.
Bran flakes 50g with 125ml semi skimmed milk.
11am
Piece of fruit. Apple or orange.
Lunch at 1.
4 Crisp breads with philadelphia light.
1 yoghurt muller light 99kcal
Cup full of grapes.
Dinner at 5 or 6.
Chicken breast 150g. Made with italien herbs.
Salad. Onions (pickled spring and red) peppers cherry tomatoes lettuce cucumber.
Or chicken stir fry
Maybe pinch of black pepper
If I get peckish around 8 piece of fruit or crisp bread with 1 slice of low fat cheese.
So if im working days I eat the same times and food but get up at 5.30am.
And if im on nights. Well the first night I have regular daily food. Then ill have ryvitas with philadelphia light with chillis around 12 midnight followed by maybe a yoghurt and another piece of fruit at 2.
If its 2nd or 3rd night. I wont have had breakfast in the day as ill be in bed from 7am untill around 2pm. When I wake up ill have usuall dinner about 2.30. Followed by usual tea at 5.30.
Then usual at work through the night. Maybe an extra If im hungry pack of belvita brekfast biscuits.
