Is this a good diet/clean eating?

Post by kingjj25 »

Is what I am eating a good diet.clean eating? should I add or take away anything? I workout in the AM after breakfast. I have about 1 to 2 inches of fat on lower stomach aka button area.

Breakfast: I usually eat cheerios with fat free milk, egg whites and OJ and whole wheat waffles plain with OJ.

Protein shake after workout

Lunch: I have chicken or lean meat or lean pork with veggies, brown rice and sometimes a sweet potato. Sometimes I'll have whole wheat pasta with chicken. Sometimes I'll just have veggies and chicken or brown rice and chicken.

Snack: Almonds and sometimes I add cheerios in there. WHAT OTHER SNACKS COULD i HAVE?

Dinner: Same as lunch minus the whole wheat pasta

Snack: PB&J or fruit or belvia crackers

Seems decent enough, although I think you could sub the cheerios when you have almonds and have something else instead with the almonds and I'd consider ditching crackers.

As for snacks there's plenty you can have.

Microwave soup, baked beans and rice meals, nuts, peanuts, yoghurt pots, oat granolas, ham, beef, turkey and chicken from a packet, pre-boiled eggs, vegetables like pineapple, carrot sticks and celery sticks, fruits including cucumber and tomato, sandwiches, flaxseeds and low fat cheese.

These options will make up partial or whole snacks.
