Training Suits for increased fitness

Post by miwather75 »

I've been checking out the training suits that make you hotter when you train which makes you lose weight faster and I found out when checking it out that it also increases plasma in the blood so you actually increase performance if that's important to you. I've found a company called Max sweat that do stuff with MMA fighters and the gear looks great and seems really good value. has anyone got any thoughts on the suits?

so it makes you hotter so you lose weight more... it is 90% hydration loss. your body is an efficient machine if you use it properly gimmicks such as these are not required.... if you want to sweat more and lose more weight then work harder... Just saying, from this view point, it is no different than 70's foil jogging suits or wearing multi layers of clothes, its mainly water weight and as you become more dehydrated your body slowly shuts down and performs at less than peak efficiency. Sorry to hack this but it is just another money maker in the health and fitness pile of gimmicks.

That's 2 cents anyway.

Sweating more might also increase lactic acid production, as the fluid sweated would contain oxygen and if you have less oxygen in your system you could create lactic acid, when the breakdown of muscle glycogen, (glycolysis), into end products, resulted in lactic acid creation happening sooner because there was not enough oxygen present, to continue with aerobic respiration, so you'd get anaerobic respiration leading to lactic acid production.

Then you'd get what you might know as "the burn", which if you have never felt it before it feels a little bit like a mild cramp that's hot.
