So, I will be a homeschool P.E. teacher this year. 8-10 children twice a day. Ages 5- 14. 30 min. To an hour. Any ideas on things I should do?
I will also be sharing what I have learned about nutrition once a week for a hour. Well... I was told not to teach as hard core as I am. There afraid I'll walk in and start ripping juce boxes out of their grubby little hands. ( And they should be).
I would love any ideas.
Get people to march on the spot for 3 minutes to warm up, then pick 6 different plyometric exercises, which you will have worked out beforehand and in which order you want to do them and allocate a 30 second time limit to them, with a 90-120 second rest break when they all 6 are completed.
Then repeat them again with a 45 second time limit on each and finally use a 3 minute march on the spot to cool down.
This is going to take around 15 minutes, then you have the remaining time to do other things with the children.
