I walk about 5.5 miles in 90 mins. I do this 6 days a week. I love the trails and prefer this to being in the gym during summer.
I tracked progress through June 2013. I lost 3 lbs over the entire month. I had walked the entire month except on days when
it rained. For all the rain days lost and rest days, I walked a total of 100 miles through the entire month and lost 3lbs. I could say
only 3lbs , but its still some loss

-what should I do to increase the amount of weight loss per month while I am out on the trail ?
-currently I am brisk walking, would running make a bigger difference in the weight loss ?
-any other suggestions while I plan to continue on the trail through summer
- weight last year : 230
weight end of May 2013: 217
weight end of June 2013: 214
goal : to break 190 lbs before end of this year
-I am on a good diet of protein, some carb and lots of veggies.
