Ok so I've been going to the gym for about 2 months with a new program...I noticed jeans fit tighter and the scale went from 120 to 130. hips don't stickout as much as they used too. May cellulite gone most away.I do HITT treadmill(7.0mph for 30 sec then go back down to 2.5 walk for 1 min start again) when I sprint its 8.0 or 10.0 for 20 sec or so back down to 2.5 walk) on 1.0 incline. Elliptical HITT BUT ONLY 5 or 4 RESISTANCE AND 3 INCLINE..i lift heavy for leg press cuz I was told woman shouldn't be afraid on heaviness cuz we don't bulk. I eat low deficint calories.... I already had leg muscles to begin with from roller skating with fat tho..wanted to build more for more fat burning after gym and toning look ..once the fat sheds. Do muscles bulk up before slimming down? and do I continue routine and wait.maybe it takes time?..or do I need to change routine to just fast long walking or jogging for longer?!!!y is it doing this? HELP I'M CONFUSED!!!! ANG GETTING DISCOURAGED!

If your jeans are tighter but you are visually slimming down, then that means you are gaining some muscle! Sounds like you are doing a lot of exercises that are building your legs which is a good thing!! I believe you should stay off the scale and not let that dictate how you feel. wife has a good bit of muscle, lifts hard in the gym, and when she leans down the scale doesn't move much but she is visibly making changes. It took her a long time to figure out that the numbers on the scale don't always mean your body isn't making changes.
