the right way to do it? help

Post by Helena_xx »

I`m 16 year old girl, i have 166cm and 65kg (kilos).
so I think I have 8 kilos too much and would like to lose it.
that`s why I started eating low calorie food and in the morning I only eat fruit and in the evening also (one apple) and I don`t eat after 6 p.m.
usually I work out in the morning before I eat for about 30 min and in the evening also 30 min,3 hours before I go to bed..
so,I would like to know am I doing right? would I need to do sth else?
please help :)

eating less food won't help as you probably need to eat more food...exercise is where it's at for you i think...wat does your exercise plan look like??

Increasing your Calories from Lean Protein, Clean Carbs, and EFA type Fats, will be the way forward.

Not too much, but more than you're doing now. Not eating after 6PM, is likely to be detrimental, considering you probably don't eat anything between 9PM, when most of your 6PM calories will run out, and about 7-8AM following morning.

You'll just be having 10-11 hours continuous burning of muscle for energy, which can affect you Meabolism, and make weight control harder, so definitely something else later on, abnout 8:30, 9:00PM would be better. That apple is also about 80 calories, too Low.

You need something more substantial. I would reccomened, if you are having issues with eating food, you try the following kinds of Meals.

4 Egg Whites, 1 Yolk, Scrambled on Wheat or Rye Toast, and the Apple.

A serving of Low or Non-Fat Yoghurt and the Apple.

Beans on Toast and the Apple.

A Myoplex Drink and the Apple.

Fast eays ways to get some more Protein and Carbs. an Apple for a snack, just won't cut it.

If you need something later on, about 8:30-9:00PM, such options would be fine also, or you could instead have a Bowl of Cereal, and some other Protein source, like a Low Fat / Non-fat Yoghurt, or Low Salt Nuts, or a Myoplex drink.

I would make sure though, you don't have two Myoplexes per evening, have one of the two evening snacks / meals, as a proper meal, if you go for a shake option, and don't replicate the meals, so don't do two Egg meals etc etc, keep both meals different, so you stand a better chance of eating Daily allowances of things, and not have too much of certain Vitamins / Minerals, by duplicating meal options each evening.

Hopefully that helps.
