hello ,
i have been recently working out at home using weights (gym is not available nearby ) . and i want to get best out of doing it .
i 'm looking to build arm muscles and abs and i have some questions .
current routine is working on arms and abs alternate days
Eg: sunday - arms , monday - abs , tuesday -arms and soo on
is this routine effective ? if any other than please post
some more :
1.is it good/bad to give 100-150 push-ups each day ? or should i do them , the day i workout on arms
2.is working out till failure better and more effective ? or doing same everytime ?

I give this to people quite a bit and I think it will work better than what you're doing.
It's all bodyweight stuff and you do it 3x a week every other day.
Squats, 2 sets, 10 reps
Lunges, 2 sets, 10 reps
Good Mornings, 2 sets, 10 reps
Bent over Rows, 2 sets, 10 reps
Vertical Flyes, 2 sets, 10 reps
Shrugs, 2 sets, 10 reps
Planks 30 seconds.
