Cardio.

Post by Silk »

After working out I hit the stationary bike for about 20-25 minutes, alternating between 90rpm and 120rpm every 30 seconds.

Is this enough to lose weight if, in addition to that, I'm also walking to and from the gym, which takes about 40 minutes(about 20 minutes to walk there and 20 to walk back)?

I would think so yes. Especially as you in effect doing intervals, by alternating the revs every 30 seconds.

just one thing to think of, if you aren't recovering enough during the "slow" interval than you're "hard" interval won't be as fast thus being less intebnsive than if you recovered enough during the slow interval...i.e. make the slow interval as slow as you can and the hard one as fast as you can...i have client's slow all the way down to 50rpm
