apple cider vinegar for pcos

Post by musculArgirl2 »

I've been reading that apple cider vinegar is good for pcos and insulin resistance. Do you think it is okay to drink diluted or some how prepared boss?

Not sure about it's uses in relation to the things you mentioned, but I don't rate it. Some say Apple Cider Vinegar and Pear Cider Vinegar are not very nice tasting and not only that, it has claims that it does a zillion and one things. I am always skeptical about products that boast a load of health claims. attitude is the more claims, the more likely it is to be poor or containing exaggerated or too many claims.

As for apple cider vinager I would believe those claims and maybe not all but I would use it every day. I have talked to some elderly women in super health that take it every day. One women named Delia is 105 and still is sharp as a tac and still gets around with her walker and takes care of herself with only a little help. I have heard other people say it has helped them.

Proponents claims that apple cider vinegar can help control diabetes by lowering glucose levels, lower high cholesterol and high blood pressure, kill or slow cancer cells and even help in losing weight.

There is little scientific evidence for any of this. But, as with any "magic" formula, the best way to know the effects on you is to experiment. Apple cider vinegar is very acidic. I'm taking it once a day by filling half a shot glass and topping off with water. Drink quickly and chase with more water or juice. I'm only in the 2nd month so I can't purport to any specific reactions.
