What is the best kind of Magnesium?
I know some magnesium is better than others. I know that some can cause Diarrhea Which kind is a good kind? I don't mean the brand but the chemical name... like magnesium oxide (if there is such a thing).
Re: What is the best kind of Magnesium?
The kind to potentially look for is Chelated Magnesium as it shouldn't contain any traces of things like Lead, Mercury and Cadmium, heavy metals found in fish for example.
I'm not sure exactly how it comes, but I'd think it's a tablet kind of supplement, which means be weary of labelling like "Pharmaceutial grade" and of hidden fillers and digestability issues as well.
You can refer to sticky post on multi-vits if you wish and testing them for potential efficacy and fillers, as your supplement should be able to be scrutinised in such ways, to better ascertain quality of product.
I mentioned before "Pharmaceutical Grade", as if Magnesium can be listed in such a way on the packaging, (I'm not 100% of that), that means all the ingredients are listed and has nothing to do with purity, or quality of product and does not mean the product has necessarily good amounts of ingredients lised or is filler free, but it may mean the product costs more.
Hopefully that helps
