goals are to do:
weights 2 times a week
run walk 3 times a week
and fill in the rest with walking on an incline on a treadmill, just walking out side, swimming, etc. Sometimes i work out morning and late afternoon on the same day.
I don't do anything really high intensity right now but i am obese so i don't feel like i really need to do high intensity to lose weight right now and I'm more of a steady state person than high intensity anyways.
run walking is where i get hr up the highest.
So far i have taken rest days sometimes too many rest days. But since i'm not doing anything really high intensity do you thing it's necessary to take a rest day?
are rest days really important?

Yes.
Take 2 a week and split them. So you could train 3 days on, 1 off, 2 days on, 1 off, which would be a good one, so you don't train more than 3 days straight.

I have to say it will be very tempting to exercise if i have the time but i will try for two days a week. Thanks.Boss Man wrote:Yes.
