So, there's all this stuff advertised about when dieting not to snack and to have your set 3 meals a day and to only eat them... but then there's other stuff that tells you to eat less, but more often, so eat small healthy meals but more like 6 times a day... what actually is the right way to go? I know that at the end of it the amount you eat more or less adds up to about the same, but its got have some kind of effect on the way you lose weight..
If you eat 3 big ones, you risk bloating, feelings of over-fullness, plus you may waste some of the nutrition if the body can't use it, convert more Carbohydrate to Fat if you don't use it, significantly elevate bloodsugar if the Carbs are quite high and then you might not get the nutrition lasting for the fuill duration between meals, meaning you might get 1-2 hours between meals of muscle catabolism, all of which could cause slightly counterproductive metabolic activity.
hi
The question is not quite clear as either you are taking about in one meal or per day.The amount of food requires by a person depends upon his body size, age, gender and physique mostly.A child eats less while the elders eat more.1900 calories has been considered a normal count per day but it varies person by person.
