Re: Noni Juice
I've heard of it before and considered it to be hyped.
There may be scientific evidence to back it up supposedly, but I didn't see any on that site, so if there is any, you may have to wonder how comprehensive it is and if it proves anything significant or trivial.
Plus it may well be something that costs too much and also they seem to be doing something, akin to subtly rubbishing Acai and Mangosteen, neither of which I'm that fussed about either.
To me I don't see the reasoning for it. Things like Flavanoids and Carotenoids are abundant.
Lettuce, Peas, Tomatos, Egg, Spinach, Corn, Carrotts, Kale, Turnips, Beans, Soy, Citrus Fruits, Onions, Peppers, Barley, etc etc, contain such things to name but some sources, so why bother with Noni Juice? It's probably a bit hyped, possibly a bit costly and probably saleable like Mangosteen and Acai are, partly because they can be promoted in a mystical and unique way, as if the fact they are not naturally abundent foodstuffs and grow up a mountain or on some Bolivan hillside or some tropical island, or some such places, gives them mystique and advanced nutritional properties, mere common or garden Fruits and vegetables fail to provide.
Let's face it, how many people would want to drink $20 a bottle fruit juice, if it came from Poland, or the Fruit grew on trees or bushes, a stones throw away from German coal mining country?
Not exactly attractive selling points, or things that give a drink mystique, or mystical and magical, healthful, life giving properites. Hey folks these potential cureall fruit juices, come from Eastern Europe and similar industrialised nations, so they may be enhanced in flavour by being exposed to trace amounts of nuclear material and coal dust in the water table, so enjoy having a tip top healthy mind, Brain and Liver won't you
Then on the ingredient list it says under Vitamin C, 450mg's, 8.2%, Uranium, trace <0.01%, Anthracite residues, trace <0.01%.
Produced and manufactured in Gdansk, Poland.
Mmmmm refreshing eastern european goodness, in a bottle
.
So yes the product might work well and might not be pricey, but don't necessarily expect either or both of those possibilities to prove tangible.

Re: Noni Juice
This time of year I really notice an influx of diet commercials, weight loss pills, jenny craig, weight watchers, etc. - I guess trying to cash in on everyone's new years resolutions to lose weight.

Re: Noni Juice
Go figure. There's a whole plethera of guillable people, ignorant people and those suddenly peturbed by their physiology for one or more reasons, that are ripe for the picking. You can pretty much rest assured, that many people never do their research and trust anyone but themselves and their own potential powers of deduction and left up to word of mouth, certain websites and the yammering, big mouthed, B.S. merchants, the suckers will buy horse doodoo and liquidised shrimp intestines if you let them.
Just so long as the packaging looks nice and there's some Caffeine in it eh
