However, I am now seeking a little bit of advice, I have searched all of the weight lifting forums, but yet to find an answer to question! If this question has been asked before, and I just can't find it...than I am very sorry...and if you could direct me to the post that would be wonderful!

I started working out about 4 years ago, when I reached 9st (at 5ft this is outrageous) and for 3 years I was very dedicated and reached target weight of 8st within the year and kept to that, give or take 2lbss. I was using cal control, weights (all machines) and cardio. In the last year I have dropped off from 3/4 to 2 sessions a week, total body work , all weight machines... treadmill and cross trainer.
In July I have stepped up training again...and nothing is happening...nada....I am currently at 8st 8 pounds....I can still lift the same weights, but when I increase them, I seem to either injure shoulder or right knee... So and finally question is...when do I know I am lifting enough weight?
Shoulder press...I can never get beyond 10 kilo, even 2 kilo more or increased reps...I end up a sore shoulder.
Legs - inner thigh press... 40 -45 kilo, 15 reps, 6 sets
Hams - 25 kilo, 15 reps 6 sets.
Quads, 25 kilo, 15 reps 6 sets.
Outer Legs.... 35 Kilo and as above...
Abs machine, 30 Kilo, 15 reps - 8 sets
Chest Press - 15 kilo, 10 reps - 5 sets - anything more ..end up injured shoulder again.
Upper back machine, not sure what it is called, 20 Kilo sitting - pulling towards chest, and machine for lats, pulling down....

As I am Irish...and working out using weights for Girls is still quite a new phenomenon...don't ask me why, there is nobody I can really ask, the guys in the gym (trainers) don't offer advice, apart from showing you how to use the machines, the Personal Trainers tie you into 10 sessions at €50 a pop..so I can't afford that... any advice would be just grand...thanks...and sorry for the rant
