Cardio Confusion??

Over the past 4-5 months I have included Zumba Classes as part of fitness workouts. I already do Bodypump classes.

Workouts as follows:

Sunday 1000.....B/Pump
Monday 1830 ...Zumba
Tues 0900.......B/Pump
Wednesday......off
Thursday 0900..B/Pump
Friday........... off
Saturday 1530... Zumba

I was doing BodyAttack classes and some occasional running..but too hard on the body.

What appears to be happening is that the muscle definition seems to be less now that I have doing Zumba!!.

1. Is it possible that there is a "wrong type" of cardio that takes away that muscle definition?

2. How can I this?

3. Am concerned that Zumba late on a Monday night and then BodyPump 14-15 hours later is maybe not enough time for recovery?

4. I love Zumba classes..but am concerned that all hard work getting the muscle definition may be lost as Zumba can be a hell of a workout which at time leaves me with less energy for BodyPump and as a girl in her "fifties" I don't wont to lose it!!

Appreciate help, thoughts suggestions.

Thanks...I was aware they are different types of exercise...but can too much cardio counteract the other e.g. end up using muscle and not fat.?

In previously posted schedule times am I allowing enough time for recovery or wouold it be more beneficial to allow more recovery time?
