i am a 27 yr old female. i weigh about 140 lbs and am about 5'5. i am looking to lose about 20-25 lbs and am just really confused as to what kind of workouts i should be doing. i have somewhat of a small frame and i tend to hold most of weight in stomach and face. i have very small hips and not much in the butt area. anyway i am especially looking to lose weight in stomach and tone up everywhere else. what can i do? i hope you can help me!

Get on a basic workout strategy for starters.
Train every muscle group 2x a session, 8-10 repetitions per exercise, 3 sessions a week. Using mostly multi-muscle, (compound), exercises and a bit of limb specific stuff thrown in there too.
Start using the light stuff and increase it a little bit every 1-2 weeks.
Do some basic steady state Cardio 2x a week for 30 minutes.
So you end up with something like this.
Day 1. Weights
Day 2. Cardio
Day 3. Weights
Day 4. Day off
Day 5. Cardio
Day 6. Weights
Day 7. Day off
An instructor should be able to get you started with this.
