Whats wrong with body?

Post by Amelie »

Hi, I'm new here but I really just joined this site to get this question answered.
For now I'll give a good description of what body looks like and I might post a picture later.

Basically I've been hounding over eating organically and healthy and having a healthy body.
I felt physically better with new diet and till this day I still don't want to change it. (I haven't touched white bread, canned items, a burger or pizza or frenchfry or any fastfood of the sort, and I have only snacked on fruits and vegetables 90% of the time through out the whole year.)
But once I started eating healthy, I wanted to also look good. Actually I'm aiming for the slightly fitness model look. 4Pack and proportional arms and legs.
For more than an enitre year now, I've been wokring out 5-6 times a week. I've expermiented with SO many different workout methods and have tried to enhance diet (if that was even possible) even more and I STILL haven't gotten the results I want.

Here's problem.
I. Am. So. Out. Of. Proportion.

And this isn't just me exaggerating bc of low self esteem, oh no. I'm going to be completely realistic.
I have lost so much weight in arms, legs, butt, chest, face, neck, and ankles for chirst sake! Except for one dreaded are.
stomach.
I mean sure, I've done ab workouts, exercise routine practically evolves around abs. I've done full body workouts, and less cardio too.
did slim down indeed, but the price i have to pay for it is chicken legs and anorexic looking arms.
People always think I'm anorexic until they see how much I eat and see that stomach is actually not so tight at second glance.

STILL has a pudge after 19 months of exercise and no abs show (unless I flex really tightly and bend slightly under good lighting)
If I reduce calorie intake, the rest of body will still look boney and sickly!

I'm 5'8, 112.8lbs as of today.
weight sale can also tell body fat % and mine was 15.5%
(Last week I was 112 and at 13.2% and diet hasn't changed the slightest)

Waist: 26.5in
Hip: 34in
Thigh: 20.3in
Bust: 32in
Ankle: 7in
Arm: 8.5in
I'm seriously out of whack. Can someone help me?

Hey I am 5'8" as well and so I know that 112 lbs may be too small for you depending on your bone structure. All people are shaped differently and no amount of weight loss will change your shape. It is based on your bone structure and genetics. I have a large bone structure, and lowest weight was 118 lbs and very active. friends thought I looked anorexic (I lost breasts)...but I was just new to living on own and couldn't afford to eat... At any rate, I hated how I looked and still felt fat. That was until I put some weight back on, it was weird but once I had a little curve back I felt alot sexier and slimmer too. Turns out ideal "hottie" weight is about 135 to 140 lbs. You may want to talk to a doctor to make sure you don't have B.D.D. So there is absolutley nothing wrong with your body. I hope this helps..

After reading your post again there could be another answer. If you have ever been really heavy or pregnant there can be tearing of the stomach muscles. I met a woman who was quite slim except she had a "pot ". She said she had been to her doctor and he told her that no amount of exercise would tighten it because the muscle just couldn't hold in the stomach. There might be surgery to it though, talk to your doctor if you can. And try to not worry too much about it...

Hello, I am new here. I read your post and I know how you feel. Before I put some pounds back on (which I am trying to lose now) I always had a pot . I had surgery when I was younger. I first had tubes tied and then 4 years later had to have a hysterectomy. When I asked the doctor about gaining weight after the hysterectomy he said to just keep active, but NOT to expect to EVER have a flat stomach again since in both the surgeries they had cut through the stomach muscle from naval down. So if you have ever had any surgery where they have cut the stomach muscle you may never get rid of the pot . But don't give up the exercise just because of that (like I did). I am now 55 and finding it so hard to lose these extra pounds.

Good Luck

No surgery.
Never been pregnant either.

@Free: I looked up BDD. I'm realistic so if they is something mentally wrong with me, I would like to know haha. I don't think I'm to that extreme though. I'm just REALLY frustrated like any other person would be after training body for such a long time to get results I want.

Has anyway ever heard of Zuzanna from bodyrock.tv ? I'm aiming for her body shape and I've been doing her workouts for about 3 months in order to try something new. I literally got thinner when I did them, and body fat percentage went up. *sigh*
