I just ate (or tired to) a fresh pomegranate for the first time - it was AWFUL~!!! Am I eating it wrong? Should you only eat the seeds and make sure the stuff that surrounds the seeds don't get eaten?

That's probably it - I think the elliptical might give you an all around better workout than the treadmill...and as long as the treadmill bothers knees, the elliptical it is! Cardio Tomorrow - will hit the Elliptical in the morning!
