Roughly how long will it take if...

Post by coheed »

if i weigh 120 and i want to get down to 105.
im thirteen.

and heres what i'd be doing:

walking about 4 miles a day

have this for an example of a day on this diet:

breakfast: corn flakes
snack between breakfast and lunch: an apple
lunch:turkey on wheat bread with a fruit/vegetable
snack between lunch and dinner: a banana
dinner: meat with a vegetable

All normal serving sizes.

and so the question is if i start doing that and keeping it up, roughly how long will it take for me to get from 120lbs to 105 lbs (15 pound weight loss)

-thanks to any who reply

Yeah, but they're not quite adequate in some cases.

1. Make sure the Banana is a big one so your Carbs will be just below 30g, not just below 20g.

2. Add a protein source in there. Bananas don't have fruit Acids, so the combination of Protein should be reasonably okay.

3. Same goes for the Apple. You could have Protein there. I would eat the Fruit Carbs first, same for the Banana, just because there is a slight problem with Fruit fermentation in the Stomach, which you don't need.

I think something like a Low Fat yoghurt would work here, and then you're already getting some of the Protein, just again have the Apple beforehand.

4. Pitch the Fruit at Lunch, and stick with a Vegetable source.

5. You could add a 6th meal if you wanted, so something like 4 scrambled Egg Whites and a Yolk, on two pieces of Toasted Wheatbread. would be fine, as an example.
