Looking for Back Exercises

Post by gpahutch »

Working out in a home gym with free weights. No cables or machines avaialble it has been a struggle to find good back exercises. I tried bent over barbell rows. It killed lower back. Looking for suggestions.

Well if you're doing BB rows properly, your Back shouldn't be at right angles to your Legs, it should be around 30-45 degrees kept straight, so if it was at right angles, you might have your problem right there.

Not sure if you have this with your home gym, but maybe pull ups may be of help.
