protein with every meal (poultry, red meat, yoghurt, milk, eggs, fish, powder)
carbs - fruit in am meals, veg in pm meals, simple carbs straight after training though whenever it is (pasta, rice, bread etc)
fats - probably best to have most at night so as to replace carb cals as you get not much from veg (fish oil tablets, fish, avacaodes, tuna, walnuts, almonds etc)
5 - 7 meals a day...get a good protein powder and have that in water as soon as you finish your last set every session
that is enough to get you started

cottage cheese
Hi. I was wondering if there was anything I could add to cottage cheese at night to make it taste better because I can't eat it plain. Does it go well with a fruit like blueberries or strawberries? Thanks!

Re: cottage cheese
I normally like to add a little black pepper or you could add some fruit (I normally do pears or peaches). But if it doesn't agree with you there may be nothing you can do. I know with bf it's a texture thing more than anything. Hope this helps!jay wrote:Hi. Re: cottage cheese
I also enjoy cottage cheese with either peaches or pears. Sometimes I like this as a quick lunch and find that it really satisfies me.jay wrote:Hi. Re: cottage cheese
Why eat it at all if you don't like it?jay wrote:Hi. I was wondering if there was anything I could add to cottage cheese at night to make it taste better because I can't eat it plain. Does it go well with a fruit like blueberries or strawberries? Thanks!
