Hello there just wondering if someone could help, i have been doing a series of Dvds specificaly to tone and lift the bum area using ankle weight and resistence bands but i have noticed certain parts look worse and swollen like, there is no pain or discomfort and its days since i last worked them, does anyone know if this is normal or should i stop, Thanks in Advance

you can do it but start from little.when you feel some more energy then you can take your desire.
Its because first your muscle is relax you never lift more weight, but now immediately you work hard that's why you feel swelling.

I'm not sure how I didn't notice this.
Ankle weights are not good, you might stress the joints and they're best avoided.
I would avoid whatever is causing the swelling. If you get pain definitely stop, though sometimes the body does not initiate inflammation responses like it should. However if the body are balloons a bit with no pain it could possibly be excess fluid retention.
Though if you're concerned stop what is causing the issue and definitely stop using the ankle weights.
